Tips For Choosing The Right Sunglasses

In the current day and age, with our lives surrounded by designer fashion and global warming, having a suitable pair of sunglasses is required for both. A good pair of sunglasses will finish off your outfit and they can also sometimes cover up your eyes after a night on the town. As for the global warming side of matters, as the Earths temperature is getting hotter, your eyes are constantly in need of protection from damaging UV rays.

So now that you have some good excuses for buying some sunglasses, you now have to make the decision as to which pair to buy. Now this is where it becomes complicated.

Just like when choosing normal glasses, the decision made all starts with the shape of your face. The majority of people come under 2 different face shapes, round and oval. A round face is where the width and length of the face are very similar and generally, round faced people are aware that they have a round face. As for the other shape, oval, if you don’t think you’re a round faced person, then you’re most likely oval faced and this is simply where the length is longer than the width.

Once you have chosen which face shape you are, you can then make a decision as to which shape sunglasses you should get. If you have a round face, then more of a rectangular or square frame would be a better option. If you are a rounded faced person then you are limited by the range of designers as some don’t make square or rectangle sunglasses.

If you have more of an oval face, you are not really limited as pretty much anything will suite your face. You are not limited by any shape or size, you can opt for the bigger styles like celebrities, or maybe something a little smaller is more your taste, either one will look right.Police sunglasses or possibly a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, you should be able to pull it off.

There are a couple of other face shapes that you may fit into if you don’t see yourself as an oval or a circle. If you think you have more of a heart shaped face, then you should lean towards the aviation style glasses that are thin rimmed. Finally, if you have more of a square shaped face then you should lean towards some curved glasses.

Hopefully this guide will help you next time you go to buy your sunglasses. Just something to remember though, although you might have payed a high price for these glasses, they might not give your eyes enough protection. Make sure they have a sticker on them saying how well they really do protect you and look to see whether they are CR39 lenses which complies by the European guidelines.
