Blushing is something that most people do at one point or another and is totally natural. People normally react to something embarrassing that happens to them by blushing. Other can blush excessively and much more than normal people at any sort of event or situation. As as result such people can become overly self conscious and try to avoid situations where they might become too embarrassed. They even develop a phobia associated with blushing that can compound the problem and make it even worse. However, there are ways how to stop from blushing.

If you are an excessive blusher then you will know that you can develop a phobia over your blushing which completely compounds the problem. As a result you may find that you are blushing over seemingly innocuous situations. Here are a few things to consider.

First of all, go to see your doctor. They may be able to tell you whether you have a medical condition if your blushing is totally out of hand and happens to often even when you are not embarrassed. Having too much alcohol can also be a problem for some and can even lead to a situation where your cheeks are constantly pink.

One thing you need to do is to not let your temper get out of your control. If you are in a situation where you think that you might start to blush then you need to keep your emotions in check. Some will think about things too much and blush as a result even if they are not in an embarrassing situation or have any sort of attention on them.

You simply need to relax and not let it all get on top of you. Its not a crime to blush and you need to increase your self confidence so that you can deal with it. If you are really struggling you can go and talk to a counsellor and get some therapy or even try hypnosis so that you can get right to the root of the issue.
